Look up "chicken boot" and do that so the toes straighten as much as possible as soon as possible. I had a roo with a slightly bent middle toe and didnt think much of it- now it hurts him tremendously and he cant run... really wish I had booted him now.

my 3 eggs did not make it. Hens broke all the other eggs, I had to wipe yolk of of these 3 but still could not save them.

I had eighteen eggs but only one hatched. This is my first time trying to hatch chicks and it was so hard when they didn't make it. I'm so sorry you lost yours...

Thank you so much. The little chick (Destiny) is doing well and her toes seem to be straightening out a bit, except for one. I'll post another picture as soon as I can and go google "chicken boot" right now.
