***JULY HATCH-A-LONG come join in***

I have three turkey poults out and some chicks looking out. More are singing from inside.

Unfortunately, humidity has been way too low this time, I was out of town for over a week and they have only been turned, nothing else. I'm humidifying now, but I think it's too late for many of them.

On the plus side, the two gold brahma eggs are doing just fine.

I have 3 blue black splash faverolles chicks they hatched on the first I am going to get pictures in a few seconds. I have 13 more eggs due the 11th and 4 more due the 15th.

Day 20 is usually too early to have pips. Don't worry!! This is the earliest I've ever had pips. It is my day 20 today. Last hatch was the first one I had where they all hatched on day 21 like they are supposed to. Usually mine are always a day late with my incubators. So this last few times I had the temps up a little more than usual just a few tenths of a degree..not much.

I ended up with 5 blue/wheaton ameraucana chicks and 4 FBCM chicks. They are all happy in their brooder. Haven't given up on others but have doubts. Due date was 7/2 but these chicks hatched 7/1. Will attempt pics soon.

Congratulations everyone, on your lovely hatches! Go pips, go!

Looking forward to more pictures too. I've seen reports of lots of chickens hatching & even some turkeys, quail & phesants.

I've got my work cut out for me this weekend with finishing up the dividing of the coop & yard in half (later in thirds) for my roosters to have their own domain to rule, now that they're older & not as tollerant of each other. Everyone is settling in good & I look forward to hatching eggs again after Aug. & on.

Have a fun & safe 4th of July weekend everybody! Happy hatching!
