Thats a good ratio. I don't go into lock down until the 10 of July. I hate waiting. I just sent 12 chicks that i had to my brother on the coast of NC to give me some more room here. I had 30 at 8 weeks and wow! are they ever growing.

We had THREE power outages last week - days 2, 3 and 4 for our eggs... How much trouble am I in? We hooked up the generator each time, but I'm afraid this yo-yo'ing is going to make a mess of our first hatching experience.

Well yesterday was lockdown and today I have three pips and I can hear them peeping! I've got nine mutts in there that were alive at day 18 candle so lets hope they all make it out ok! I've got one that pipped a little low so I'm crossing my fingers!!
