Hello all my hatching BUDDIES!!! LOL
I set 12 Gold Laced Brahmas yesterday. These were eggs I had won on a facebook contest! I need to candle today and see what the aircells look like. My new incubator will get fired up this weekend, so I will be switching any eggs I have going, over to it. Wanna see a picture???


The hatch goes on in the doors at the bottom, then for hatch the eggs get moved to the drawers. I have 2 big windows where I can sit and stare at them....lol

I want one of these for my den! Did you build this on your own or did you find instructions online?

Alrighty, I guess I'm in. I put in D'uccle eggs in to try out my new-to-me LG still air with PC fan added (it's great having a hubby that fixes computers, but it took a while for him to find one that he could slow down the speed). Today is day 2...so that should put hatch date around July 11th?

My fingers are crossed that i might be a hatcher this month too. I have ordered some of cloverleafs faverolle eggs. They are suppose to arrive no later than tomorrow. Say a prayer. They were mailed on Wed. I want some soooo bad. I have the genesis1588 going ready now for two days.. I feel terribly impatient.
That is a beautiful incubator above. WOW my hb would kill me if I had that many at one time

I am SO jealous!!! I want her eggs but... Can't right now due to other commitments... But i will soon!!! Oh and I hope you have a wonderful hatch!!!

First candle tonight and 5 duds, so I'm down to 25 eggs. Based on color and dates, I'm pretty sure they came from two hens that I already suspected didn't submit to Cogburn's amorous ways. I've added zero water this time and the humidity is staying around 22% - more eggs seem to be more stable.

Candled day 7- looks like I only have 1 (possibly 2, but I doubt it). :/ This one is clear, right? Should I toss it?

I saw movement in this one tonight (I think- are my eyes playing tricks on me?)

Wait till day 14 before tossing. I see something in 2 !
