Hi we got are from Craigslist too and they told us they were jumbo quails and we got mixs up. We got both different ones. But the males have all brown chest and females has black pots on their chest. We got more males then females. All together we got 17 chicks end up with more males. So be careful what they say looks like you got males that's why they are not laying eggs. So sorry. But we are getting 10 more chick hopefully we get more females this time around. And make sure they are jumbo quails lol
and the food is right kind we get same food for our quails. Please have a great day
