I was told by posting on this thread I could possibly get some better answers. We have a jumbo pekin egg that we've been incubating for 26 days total now and the pictures are from yesterday. It was still moving yesterday, but not able to check now since it's locked down and I don't want to open and ruin the humidity. Any idea if it's a dud or if it could still make it? Thanks for any answers! Also, if it doesn't make it, we'll have only one duck. Any tips?

Incubation is approx 28 days so I would just keep it, I only throw eggs if they're 100% dead or infertile or begin to smell. Looks okay for me and if it's moving that's a pretty positive sign?

If you end up with one duck, use mirrors in your brooder to trick it into thinking it's with friends and buy it a buddy. I don't like the thought of keeping a baby for 6+ weeks alone give it a friend.
