We have 2 jumbo pekin ducks and they have started to hold my hens down and are ripping their feathers out. We dont know if its because we dont have any females or what could be going on if it cant be fixed by getting females then we will have to rehome them. Does anyone know what we could do to stop them from hurting the hens they try to hurt the roosters but the roosters fight back.

They are doing this to your chicken hens? If so, time to separate them ASAP!

Drakes have penises. Chickens don't. Chickens are not designed to take that sort of abuse, and the ducks can injure them. Either get some ducks (probably, at a very minimum, four) or get rid of some drakes.

So that will help fix the problem? My mom doesnt want to get rid of them shes willing to get the females

That is even better, get females at least 3up for each of your drakes with free ranging that should help a lot. I'd lock them all up at night though lots of preds like duck for dinner. My ducks all sleep in the same large house my chickens roost the ducks and geese[right now because it's so cold] sleep in the shavings.

So we would have to buy 6 females for the two males? Would 2 a piece do? My moms a bit sceptical

Two each would be lower end drakes can be pretty rough on females when mating and can even injure them. So at least 2 for each drake that way hopefully the boys will spread the love around and not over use one. Duck sex is very rough.

I used a sturdy wire circular dog fence inside my duck house for a while to separate younger new female ducks from the randy drakes. Amazon, fairly cheap. Perhaps a similar solution may work for you until you can acquire female ducks. Tough time of year to bring up ducklings if you need to, but Murray McMurrey or Meyers Hatcheries may be able to get you female pekin ducks if you cannot find a local source.
