Jumbo Quail chicks suddenly dying at 2 weeks old

It is good to know we here at BYC could be of some help
wee.gif

as for the Quail let's keep them warm for at least 10 to 12
weeks before taking them out in the run as by then they
should be fully feathered by that time as for right now you
are playing the part of the mother and for some reason I
do not see you going out and letting these little one's
getting under you're shirt to stay warm

Besides I believe some women already has that Post
at the moment

Thought I'd update the outcome incase anyone read this thread..

The 4 quail chicks are now happy & healthy 12 week old adults living outside in a 6 x 4ft run with lots of hiding places & shelter. They have grown beautifully & are now all the same size & very hardy. They became very tame & like being held close to your body in a not tight grip. They come running to you in the morning for food.

I am delighted with the outcome to this story & would like to thank the BYC members who advised me. They may have died otherwise.

Also a special thanks to Gander007 (I think that was how it was spelt

) for the dramatic improvements in the chicks wellbeing after following his advice.
