I picked up some quail, and they are a mix of regular coturnix, tuxedo, white and the Texas A & M white with wild-colored patches. One of the regular coloured ones is significantly bigger than the rest, and the white/Texas ones are actually the smallest. I did see one of the smaller white ones breeding one of the tuxedo ones, so I know those are a male and female. I thought the Texas A & M were supposed to be bigger than regular coturnix quail, not smaller? I'm wondering if they are likely to grow any more, or if they are full grown since they are bedding? I'm guessing the biggest one might be a jumbo coturnix? Are the jumbos usually bigger than the TX variety?
