Hi all! Thank you for the welcome! Been a long week! We spent the weekend modifying the shelter into a coop. Babies went out Sunday afternoon. They are so ridiculously happy! Probably equally as happy as I am to have them outta my house! I must admit I miss peeking in on them at night.
I swear they have doubled in size since they have so much room now. They still like to roost on the ducklings but also use their great roosts.
One of my Dominique's is quite a bit smaller than the others. She seems to think the ducks are her mama hen. She likes to roost on them, sleep with them in a duck puddle & she runs and hides under the Pekings. As long as she doesn't decide she wants to swim with them I'm good.
I'm currently forgetting that I have things I should be doing and sitting in the coop with my kids. These are some pics I've snapped while failing to adult.
