Jumping button quails

Heyy so basically my quails jump in the night I have them covered and everything they live inside, have food and water and they still jump it looks like they are getting bald, is there anything I can do to prevent further bad injuries or anything I need to add for them?

The balding might just be molting. They do that this time of year. So I wouldn't worry about that. But I don't know about the jumping... There's a lot of people who know a lot more than me about button quail so hopefully someone will turn up!

Leave a night light on for them

I have 2 button quails and they are housed in a 20 gallon long tank

Cool how old are they, and so far im guessing they are jumping in the dark.and cant see leave a small light or nightlight

Also try useing nonslip mats from dallor tree as a lid its soft so if they bump it they dont hurt them selfs

I don't know how old they are since I didn't raise them but they don't look adults from what I heard

They need a heat lamp if they arent adults even if they are inside
