Hey all! Brand new to chickens here, just bought a small farm in rural New Hampshire with an existing chicken coop in the barn and wanted to get started right away. We are awaiting our first batch of 15 chicks in the mail this week and have another 25 on the way the following week! Once we started looking into different breeds and minumum orders through hatcheries they just started adding up haha. We will probably give some away or sell a few but we have the space for them so I'd like to give it a shot. We already have two dogs, a cat, and plan on getting two pigs and a few rabbits this spring so things should be pretty busy around here. Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning all I can on here and making a few friends along the way. I am an airplane mechanic by trade and enjoy playing guitar, riding my motorcycle, fishing, camping, and target shooting. Here's my Dalmation Reggie who we're hoping gets along with the chickens!
