June 2021 Hatch - A - Long

It's funny how you can not even be 2 weeks into a month and the eggs you set will hatch the following month. I set 37 Aloha and 5 FBCM eggs today.

I expect to set 30 quail eggs this coming Friday, for a hatch date of the seventh.

I just ordered 4 dozen quail eggs that should arrive next week. I don't plan on hatching anything else, but plans can change.

I have four chicken eggs due the seventh, and as I mentioned, I fully expect the quail eggs to be here in a few days, and them to hatch on the seventh as well.

I plan on hatching another batch of quail after the ones I have hatch at the end of May. I got some interesting coloring with the ones I did in the beginning of may. I even got a tuxedo!

Gosh, I remember having a tuxedo. Two actually, The second passed away this past winter. I don’t remember what happened to the first.
