happy to help, and of course there are things i would do different. like huge doors, and front opening windows, and one really large open pen for growing out layers, and these really cool outside runs if i ever get that done. never ending project.

i wish my garage wasn't so close to the neighbors. we thought of converting part of it to use as the coop area. the dh thought it would be easier to keep the birds warm in the winter. but i thought the smell might not be pleasant for both us and the neighbors. (these are the ones who complained about the roo crowing but owned chickens at one time.)

maybe i will eventually convert a section in the future and sound proof the inside so they can't hear the roos!

btw, i will be bringing the recently received light brahma pullet chicks and mottled houdan straight run chicks. along with the 2 silkieX cockerels and 3 salmon faverolle cockerels.

i got the dh to come with me for this one. i hope the crowds will be good. this will be the first time going to Merrimack!
