June Bugs

OK apperantly June Bugs haven't got the memo that it is only March. We are getting swarmed by them this week. How are they for the girls? We have 6-2 week chicks and 3-8 week girls.

Oh my Japanese bantam she loves June Bugs! That early?!!! It doesn't seem to hurt mine. The just need to see them. If they have bright colors that repels predators, so maybe you could smash them before they eat them. Sometimes they'll break them on their own and eat them.

As long as they can get them down, they're fine. And as long as your chicks have grit. My girls go nuts for those things!
