Forget I mentioned the zones. I'll try to match people up by the state and group people in a tri-state area. For example . . . I'm in South Carolina so I would match myself up with somebody in SC, NC or VA and maybe GA.

I don't think that the fan blowing across the eggs would hurt them. I'll show your design to Randy and see if he has any suggestions. The shelving might be a problem. To me, it looks like they might be obstructing a good even air flow. He can help with figuring out your wiring also.

There is a 4 in opening all the way down the back. The shelves are a 2x4 frame covered in 1/4 inch hardware cloth so it is pretty much an open design. I think I lose th most heat through the window in front.

Also, the incubator is in the garage? Is there any air flow into the garage? Mine bators are on a enclosed porch and the present time and I was worried that the temps would spike during the hot part of the day but so far they're fine. I have a shade tree covered window that seems to push cool air thru the room.

The window is just plain glass, maybe 1/4 inch. I wonder if I cover that and put in a smaller bulb with the 100 watt bulb. I'll try to get more and better pictures of it.
