View attachment 1038974 Well number 3 hatched 17 hours after popping. Still have one trying to get out and it has been 24 hours. I enlarged the hole a bit and it chirps really loudly. I hope it makes it!

They are SO cute!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for the last one!!

Congratulations everyone on the new babies! I'm only on day 6 with my goose eggs. Oh the agony of the wait. lol

I hate the waiting! Today is only day 2 for me...

LOL...I totally get that!!! I checked the progress of mine every 30 minutes and I'm sure I'll do it again when it's hatch day for me!

One has decided to pip and is chirping away. Hopefully it will be out by the time I have to leave in the morning.

It is hard not to obsess about them when hatching. I think I spent most of the day today doing that.

Finally number 4 hatched...
At the 30 hour mark it had zipped half way around and was trying to push out.
After awhile I broke up the shell on the 2nd half and the membrane and then it pushed out!

Strange thing about this one was that it never rested like the other chicks did when it finished hatching. It just kept bouncing along in the incubator.

Four out of six ebay eggs to hatch. I'm pretty happy about that. I can tell the other two weren't going to hatch by candling them. They developed some but had a strange profile and not full enough in the egg to be a complete chick.

Plus no movement or sound.

It is interesting how they all look different. His feathers all look ruffled.

"Ada" the one on the left is so smooth and light colored. She is the smart one of the bunch...first to figure out how to drink and eat.

I'm still kinda surprised how dang cute they are!
