I woke up this morning to 3 pips. 1 just hatched and is as noisy as ever. My chick was moving around in the incubator and moved some of the eggs, some had even piped, is that okay? Hoping the rest goes well. I forgot the sugar/water ratio- what is it? Thank You!

I woke up to find one very nice pip and about an hour ago I noticed a second pip started.

I can't hear any peeps yet but my house is not exactly quiet with two boys running around the house.

Thats AWESOME! All my babies are hatched now but today i get more eggs.. lol! Hatching more pheasants and about 50 bobwhite quail eggs.. Autta be interesting!!

I have four "olive eggers" Three hatched on day 20 and one, late on day 21. The last one, I kept until day 24 and nothing. These are eggs from my flock. They are really cute. I have them in the brooder, on some paper towel. How long until I can put them on some shavings?

Amber, what made you decide it wasn't developed? (I need to get better at this, so any help is welcome.)

Images, I leave papertowels over a layer of shavings for the first few days, but I've normally removed it by the 5th day. I don't know if that's too early or not.

Yay for the pips!!!

Outback, can you sex those chicks by the spots on their heads or am I confusing my breeds?

Not doing so good here... One very fiesty polish chick and two silkies that hatched but seem extremely weak and sleepy. There is one egg that has a nice sized hole in it and the baby is still moving around but no progress. It started to pip yesterday around 3-4 in the afternoon yesterday.
