June Hatch A Long

I did my phone with steamlabs.com to stream it but I kind of need my cell phone at work so needed something different.

I don't actually think my phone would be capable of doing it. I still have a Droid Mini and I keep fixing it every time it dies rather than buy another one...lol, I'd rather spend my money on chickens.

Still assisting...:caf
Any day now babies...preferably today. lol

And just like that (not seriously, this took 3 days, lol) all 3 goslings have hatched! The last baby out does have a hernia which I've only seen when incubation temps were too high so I guess that answers my question as to whether I should have adjusted it more when I first calibrated the incubator.
I moved all of them to the Little Giant incubator to dry off so I'll have to wait a bit before I can take more pictures. Hopefully little baby with a hernia will be ok! :fl

Congratulations glad they got out okay.

Hope so!!! Can’t wait to see the photos!!!

So today is lockdown and I’m sad to say I had zero turkeys make it. And out of my 6 chicken eggs we are literally locking down 3 fingers crossed they hatch

Good luck!!! I hope your 3 chicks hatch smoothly!

This has been the hardest month for me yet with both infertile eggs and entirely bad batches of eggs for one reason or the other. It's possible that the heat this time of year is responsible and the eggs are just significantly more time sensitive (I'm assuming it's just as hot in AZ as GA) all of the really fresh eggs that I picked up are doing great but those that were a bit older didn't fare as well, maybe because they weren't as carefully stored out of the heat? :idunno
Or it could be coincidence. I just set some fresh turkey eggs myself, fingers crossed! :fl
