i have 10 light brahma eggs under a silkie, due 6-1 and 80 plus guinea eggs due 6-14 shipped eggs, picked up eggs and wed i will rob my guineas nests and into the bator they will go. good luck to all

How exciting! good luck to everyone. I have not candled my blue orps yet. I am only on day 5. I am trying to wait until day 10 at least. I think I candled way to much with my first hatch. I could not stop.

It was so addicting. I do want to candle, but I am going to wait. That is a fabulous link mayberrygirl. Those pictures are wonderful. Very helpful to a newbie. My incubator has been steady and I have just opened it once to add more water. I hope to have a good hatch.

Yeah!! Decided to candle my eggs again (day 4). Did all of them this time instead of just 2 like I did yesterday (out of curiosity) and for my first ever hatch I am optimistic that we are off to a good start! Out of 11 eggs (all I had gotten from my 2 BO pullets in a weeks time) I have 4 that I am very sure are fertile (the lightest ones!), 5 that I am relatively sure are (nice dark yolk area, no veins visible but a def "pink" glow) and 2 that I am still just not sure of at all. SO we'll see! Happy incubating to everyone!

I just candled yesterday and only saw 2 out of the 11 developing

but the 2 that are developing look great

Well I just candled on day 7. Out of 8 shipped eggs I have 8 developing.

I'm joining. Just set several EE eggs and 10 Silkie/possible Silkie/Frizzle cross eggs last night @ 10:20pm. Finally got my fan in my LG and humidity is @ 50%. Yay! Due on June 10th.

Good morning I just set some of my eggs. 9 Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks, 6 Blue and Black Copper Marans, 5 Golden Cuckoo Marans, 16 Black Copper Marans. So my hatching date should be 6/10. These are all shipped eggs and a few have not so good air cells but most of them looked great before I set them now I don't candle until 7 days so I will be checking back on the 27th.
