Candled this morning - I have 6 swimming silkies out of 8 eggs!! 1 was clear & 1 had a blood ring.

I have chicken, duck, turkey, pheasant, & guienea eggs that are due from June 10th-22nd so June will be an exciting month! All eggs were shipped & the 2 shipments I've got so far have detached air cells...so this will be my 1st time incubating eggs in an egg carton. Good luck everyone!

I am now up to three broodies, the last one is a bantam. I guess she must get a few eggs as well, but I'm out of spare room to put her in.

Why can't they wait their turn?! I sure hope I get an incubator for my birthday so I can hatch some eggs later on as well, at this rate all my hens are gonna be "broodied out" soon.

Well out of my 11 I still only have 4 that I'm sure of the others have nice dark yolk and seem darker than the fresh laid ones but can't really tell much else about them. That was day seven, yesterday. Guess I'll give them a few more days? I've even tried compairimg them to the onine pics nut those are so good mine don't look like anything. Here's hopin for more good eggs!

I have 15 Buff Orphs, trying one more time, then sending the incubator back. Depending on how this hatch turns out I will stick to buying the babies.....Much easier, Happy Hatching, Im due for these on June 7.

I just set 5 mutt bantam eggs this afternoon! They are due June 14th. I'm really excited to see what they look like when they hatch!
