1) We have 24 duck eggs in our incubator right now that are on day 8. When we candled last night we saw veining in 22 of the 24 eggs but we only saw the duck embryo itself in about 4 of them.....does that matter or is seeing the veining enough to say that they are developing?
2) We keep getting temp spikes around 103 every morning. We are able to get the temps down in a reasonable range during the day but we are wondering if we do accidentally kill off a few of the pre-ducks, at what point will we see a blood ring? (As in, if the temp spikes to 103 in the morning and it kills some off, would the blood ring happen quickly or would it take a few hours/days, etc?)
Thanks!
