It says it good for another 2-3 months
- It *was* good for that long, prior to being turned into an oral suspension -- then? Best-case scenario, it's still less than a month 'til it's not any good.
- Also, you were given an amount that was supposed to given 'til it ran out, which means it's gonna run out before you've given it long enough to not create a situation in which bacteria w/in the bird will likely develop resistance to enrofloxacin.
Two reasons why you should make sure that bottle makes it to the landfill ... but, you can start your flock on another treatment: An astringent solution of Apple Cider Vinegar at the rate of four teaspoons to the gallon (but not in galvanized metal containers). This is an effective treatment for many respiratory diseases, as it reduces the viscosity of mucus, making it more easily expelled by your birds, and removes coatings w/in mouth, throat and intestines, which improves the uptake of nutrients/vitamins, as well as any medication(s) you may end up givin' to 'em ~'-)
