Just a quickie breed confirmation ...

Purchased this pullet as a day-old (well, several days old) from TSC (via Hoover’s) this summer about the end of July, I think, as a Buff Orpington. Having my doubts she’s not a Production Red or something? More reddish than buff, very yellow legs, dark feathers in the tail, looks like getting close to POL at about 4-4.5 months. Is she just “hatchery quality” or something else? Thanks!

I don't think buff orps have black in tail feathers. Mine at least doesn't. I don't know what she could be, but I don't think she's a buff. She looks a bit redder than buff to me. But I could be wrong.

Sorry, just looked it up and she looks like a New Hampshire Red or Rhode Island Red.
