Summertime is a dreaded time when chicken owners come across various diseases. Sour crop and coccidis are at the tops of the coop list. If you are a turkey owner, then its gallacepticus.
Just a reminder:
Freshen bedding and coop/run floor.
Clean out feeders/troths on a regular basis
Freshen old food with new food
Clean out water troths /waterers DAILY!! (Especially auto waterers)
Once a month to yogurt and acv your chickens.
If you have a sick bird, isolate and medicate.
