Just a theoretical quieston about pidgeons.

Hello there. I have never owned a pidgeon but have always been fascinated by them. I know people selectively breed them and it seems there are more varieties than alot of things. I was just theoriticly wondering is it possible to breed a pidgeon to look like the now extinct passenger pidgeon.? Dont know what good this would do for the world but it just happened to pop into my mind!

Probably possible but won't behave or live as such as the passenger pigeon.

I don't think the people that are capable of bringing it back would want them back because of easy disease transmission and many other problems it would cause.
