Fortunately, I have a bail of burmuda grass for such instances.

I'm tempted to believe the chicken matter, plus the mud and broken down grass might mold into some pretty good adobe blocks. Never tried it though.

You got that right and my hens excavated the front of the human door so it has a downward slope. I have gone down with a big splat of my butt in the mud a time or too.
