Ive always wanted them and have been reading about them for years, got them for the first time feb. '17 after asking my husband for about 30 years. He finally said yes.
Honestly don't know who loves it more!
So we are still in the first season.

We've lived all over,
Currently in south east NC, it's possible this could be our last stop.
Grown/almost grown kids
1 Dog who thinks we bought the chickens to keep him company, 1 cat who watches the chickens out the window for so many hours a day I think I'm going to have to put him on a diet.
I really appreciate this forum.
I don't think I would have taken the giant step into backyard chickens without BYC because of the support available here in realtime. Also I admire what it's become ( which is enormous) and the crew/ person who had the vision of creating it.
So far it seems like a very nice community and it's nice to see people giving each other moral support.
The world sure needs that, more and more each day it seems.
