I removed the waterer from the inside today and it seemed like my Ancona's took to it quickly but I could not stick around just watching them. I am concerned they will all not follow suit? Should I put the water back in the coop and still keep the water outside or do you think they will all take to it?

Also, I keep the food inside, I am afraid to put into their run since the rain will get into it...just cover the top or is it ok to leave inside?

thank you!

Most people say they'll catch on if one bird gets it. I'm a little cautious and would probably leave both waters in there until I could supervise and confirm.

You need to remove all water sources except for the new nipple waterer. Thirst will drive them to find the water. If one has already figured it out, the others are right behind.
