I have myself a beautiful roo. He is an Isbar from Greenfire Farms. Now at this point I am no breeder but I am amazed at the gorgeous babies I am getting. They are all mixed breed but amazing none the less. The first photo is daddy. Then his pretty babies.

Beautiful dad, beautiful children! I’m a tad jealous I fi do say so myself. Isbars are a cool breed, I would love to get some one day.

They are great chickens. He is so sweet and gentle. He even allows my 5 year old to man handle him. If I give him a treat he always takes one bite and shares with the hens. When they are very small he even helps the mommas care for the babies. It's so cute and sweet watching them. I forgot this guy because of course I couldn't keep him but he is from my first hatch of the year. He was born on Valentine's Day.
