gosh! I don't know! They just came up volunteer from seeds given to the hens. We will see when the heads die back. Sometimes the plants make teeny seeds and would be hard for humans to play with, but the hens might like them. Thanks for asking! I may have a seed factory growing right there!

How pretty! I love sunflowers. I used to grow a sunflower house for my kids when I lived on a lot that had lots of sun. Sunflowers are the happiest looking flower!

thanks. I think they are so full of hope and happiness. You can't think of anything bad when you see a sunflower.
