My windows aren't close enough to the roosts to be fought over... not something I thought about when building the house, just the way it turned out, I guess. Well, I wanted the roost to be close to the wall that's shared with the shed so it'd be warmer in winter, so that's why there aren't any windows on that side. Goes hand-in-hand

I've just nailed a 1x6 across the front of the roost. I'm going to start doing the "deep littler method" within the area under the roost since it's pretty well enclosed there. Will see how that goes
