Just butchered 8 Bobwhites.

Me and my dad just butchered 8 Bobwhites.He killed them and I cleaned them this is the first time I have ever butchered any of my animals.I cant wait to eat them for dinner tonight

No matter how you cook em they'll taste like quail. And quail tastes good.

I floured them and now im frying them there going to be mashed potatoes and gravy to go with.Im am glad to hear they taste good

They may be a tad bit on the chewy side if not rested for awhile, that's why so many folks who hunt and eat quail the same day do a stew type or quail and dumplins kinda thing, it help to keep them more tender, but I am in your corner and would still eat them any way I could LOL. Bon' appitete.

Just finished dinner we butchered old ones and young ones the old ones where super but the young ones where tender and delicious I think I am going to get some coturnix just for eating
