I am not experienced enough to really tell what’s going on in the pics so interested to hear what others say. Does the air cell seen small to you or does it just look that way in the pic?

Yep assisted a few last year.. I am thinking thats what will happen. But it was moving its mouth similar to an eating motion so want to make sure yoke is absorbed first

It might, it depends. I've had many successful assisted hatches.

I think some just don't do it correctly. If done correctly it is perfectly safe, and often the only chance a chick has
