Just curious about my pullet's toes

Hi there everyone. I have a set of chicks just five weeks old, and one of my Australorps; Darth Cluck ( named by my kids), has some interesting looking feet. The second toe on each foot is curved in more than a little. Not straight like her other toes, and not like her sister Australorp, Blackie. She seems to get around alright, but seems to have obvious issues with balance when trying to roost.

She's healthy otherwise, it just looks like someone glued that toe on wrong when they built her. :p

Anyone have this happen and chick lives out her days just fine? Is this common with this breed? ( I had Buff Orps before, and RI Reds and they were fine).

Thanks for any advice.

I can take a picture if needed.

I don't really know about genetic predisposition or anything but i feel it pretty normal and wouldn't be a great of an issue other than cosmetics, and at that age i don't think it's still fixable... Hope you enjoy your chicks!

Thank you both very much for the input. We got them via a hatchery through the mail as day old chicks so genetics might be a bit...muddled up.

I do enjoy her very much, she's just going to be my special little hen as she grows I guess. Not unlike her namesake with his appendage issues.....:D Probably not fixable. It wasn't as noticeable when she was smaller, but now she's out in the coop and I see it better.
