How are North American businesses ALLOWED to just take their jobs overseas? A call center I worked at years ago is closing and MOVING TO THE PHILLIPINES! What!? Something needs to be done about companies outsourcing and moving. It is only going to further cripple North America.

End all wars (Iraq, Afghanistan) and spend that money at home. Promote green energy, let's work at relying on green and renewable energy sources (solar, wind, etc). Just think about it, REALLY think about it... we are living in times where we can harness energy from the sun and wind and we are still dependant on non renewable energy sources. Nuclear waste has a shelf life of millions of years if I recall correctly and the containers for it are only meant to last for thousands of years. Think about that. We can HARNESS ENERGY FROM THE SUN instead of contaminating our world permanently for generations of humans, animals and plant life to come. Tell me that is not a good business idea that should be flourishing worldwide.

There are a million answers to the unemployment problem, I think at some point people need to stop and really think... take a good look at your government. Do they represent you? You know they dont. You know the corruption runs very deep and there are really no good candidates. Obama was never a saviour, he was just painted to be one and people accepted it, loved it, wanted change. But politicians as they are now do not and never will make a change. The system is broke and is not getting better. We need to start depending entirely on ourselves for our food and livelihood because things only seem to be getting worse.

Do the same thing other countrys do. Throw out the export tax an triple the import tax. O an build a dang wall!

I got this e-mail...it's a clip from a newspaper in which a man suggested on how to fix our economy...sounds like a good plan to me! Here it is:

Dear Mr. President:
Please find below my suggestion for fixing America's economy.

Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander
the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following
plan.


You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force.

Pay them $1 million a piece severance for early retirement with the
following stipulations:

1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered - Auto
Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing
Crisis fixed.

It can't get any easier than that!

If more money is needed, have all members of Congress and their
constituents pay their taxes....

Just a thought..........I would of used that stimulus money to reopen the Civilian Conservation Corps. It helped millions of family's during the last depression. I would make changes to the enlistment guidelines of the CCC to ensure equal opportunity employment. I would enlist people to rebuild our transportation system & improve our natural resources. Give people jobs, Sanction the banking system & insurance company's, & watch the economy come to life. Waisted government spending has gotten so big that the citizens can no longer afford to pay for it. We have politicians that make up committee's that never meet, just to collect a check. If we downsized government, we could put that money toward a larger work force. Us as citizens need to step up & create open public committee's to handle some of the concerns that we leave to our elected officials. We'd save $millions$, & have a voice in whats best for us. Also we would need to create industry. We would have to open small scale mining for natural minerals. Gold & Silver mining built our nation. Then it helped pull us out out of the depression during the 30s. Our nation is very rich in natural minerals. It's important to rebuild our Gold & Silver reserves........

Not the answer you were looking for, but here's a really depressing article about a possible future world scenario, money, wealth, the gutting and abandonment of countries as the world banks exploit them for their resources, then leave them gutted, economically wiped out and move on to the next place with resources. It is pretty sobering and depressing, but if you are up for it, it is a very long and dry, but eye opening read.

I like the idea of buying American and making it more worth a persons while than purchasing from a foreign country....
