My DH was referring more to the current Battery hens being terminated out of spite more than anything, and the farmers being subsidized for their losses that is going to happen along the way, as it will.
I fully support more humane treatment of animals.
The scope of this proposition was very broad, and I dont know enough about it's loopholes to be comfortable. I should have paid more attention and I'm not in a position to gripe (non-voter).
I have 90 Chickens, Egglayers and Purebreds on their own acre of land, free to roam, with access to 18 nest buckets and multiple kennel/coops, and closed in protection at night. I am afraid someone will tell me I do not have enough room for my babies?
