Hi Everybody! Thanks so much for the welcomes! Comic relief is right, chickens are a hoot! As a matter of fact my prerequisite for marriage (from the time I was a little girl) was that my future hubby had to let me have chickens or the deal was off!

And chickens were the first thing I got after we'd been married for a year and bought our first place in the country! Now it's 13 years later and we've got a nice little homestead here. Of course we've moved several times, but we're pretty sure this is it!
