Dominique!! I couldn't figure out why she was so small for her breed. Then her comb came in funny. Then I was talking to the farmer who owns the flock she was hatched from (we found her as a stray living under our deck). I can't believe I didn't figure it out on my own. Although now that I know the differences I can see why I thought she could be a Roo early on. She had such long feathers in her tail.
Well at least she fits all the norms for her breed now. She is so sweet. She is the only one I think likes me to pet and hold her. Plus she has a major case of the Squats (lol). She has been laying for almost 3 weeks now. 3 eggs per week including a double yolker.
