Ice helped me through my shoulder surgery. I had a pretty bad case in that repair. I can't do pain meds but that ice was a life saver. Worked really well.

Morning all, Up since 5am. I pulled another Walmarts today. OMG, floors, walls, you name it.
Its raining here. It was when I went to bed as well. Maybe all night. It wasn't ice or snow. I will take it! Its going to be a long day w/o a nap. I don't see myself getting one because its NAA day!

@microchick I learned something new from the ER colorectal surgeon on call today. I called to see if DH should be seen on emergency for his swollen stoma. He said put table sugar on it for 20 minutes. It draws out the water for edema. He said they do that for prolapsed stomas in the ER

We do that for dogs with a prolapse. Funny how old time remedies are making a comeback.

Tom and I used to go to Red lobster for our Annv. and my Bday. We always took my father as it was his bday as well. And my eldest sister but I never took her so yesterday was bittersweet. A lot of memories there. I also couldn't get out of my seat yesterday. Nancy had to pull me out and she is just a little thing. Made me feel bad.
