Just finished the tractor, kinda

Holy cow! That's my kind of tractor! You did the run right- tall enough to stand in.

Great job.

Very VERY nice!!! Only one question though: ventilation? I know the door is open, but I don't see a window for when it's closed? Maybe I missed it...anyway, when are you coming over to build mine?

I'm a newbie at all of this too. I was wondering if you could post pictures of the inside.

Also, to move the tractor, do you just lift the end opposite the wheels and roll it to it's new position? If so, how do you keep the chickens' feet and legs from falling through the wire on the bottom? I guess you could make sure they were all in the coop and hope they don't run out before you set it down.

yeah i didnt want to hunch over as much plus i plan to put in some roosts in the run. I figured the added height would give the chicks a more spacious feeling especially if they will use the run roosts.

I cut out two 3-4 inch ventilation spots near the top of the coop. I plan to put another on the other side and maybe the back but I got my chicks before the coop was officially done

That is the plan, I have yet to connect the two but once they are connected Im going to attach some handles to the front so I can use it like a wheelbarrow. When I move the coop the chicks will be either locked up in the coop or in a fenced in area of the yard (the dog pen) – this is where I plan to let them roam around when we are home.
