Ok ladies-- here is the update.

I called my producer friend. She has not only met Mr. Mike Rowe, but spent time with him, and even been out for drinks with him. Once she was his handler during a trip to New York for some promotional function. He even stayed in the hotel room across from hers....

One morning she had slept in and the phone rang. With bleary eyes and scratchy voice she picked it up. On the other line, was a smokey, sultry voice. It rolled into her sleepy ear like lazy sunshine.

Wait for it....


"Good morning Ms. XXXX."
