Just found a Rooster in my flock

Yeah I told my hubby he can kill him but as of yesterday he started crowing like crazy. Out neighbors have come over and are none to happy about it. I have an ad on Craigslist with a picture-and only one response asking if I would deliver and I said I would then nothing. I went to one feed and called the others but they have numerous ads for free roosters now. It's a pity because he is fine when I handle him but he terrorizes my dog. We have all our chickens free range and I hate to have to build a seperate run just for him. But aside from that we can not keep him because I think my neighbors will lynch us. I have one more call into a friend who kills his chickens to see if he wants him or if he will butcher him. But because of te neighbors and my 3 year old he needs to go.

It is unfortunate. A rooster is great for protection in a flock. He will never be quiet with such a nice group of girls. You do not need a rooster, better he feed your family a different way.
