Just found my 1-week-old chick dead

I had been there about 2 hours before for quite a while observing them; everything seemed fine. At first I thought she was sleeping, but she's gone. Other than she has white poop on her butt, I have now idea what happened. I don't know if she pasted up (but I had checked them all this morning) or if the others hurt her or what.

I'm a newbie at chicken raising and I thought everything was going so well. Any ideas as to what could have happened? Do I need to be concerned about the others?

When you say white poop, do you mean it was built up on her backside?

Yes, there was some covering her vent. I don't know if it happened post mortem or if it caused the death.
