My thirteen year old daughter has epilepsy as well.

Her neuro has her on meds- and told her that she must follow a routine. Up the same time each day, eat the same time, sleep the same time. He told her when you dont follow a routine, you have more seizures.

One of my best friends has epilepsy. He's 72 and hasn't had a seizure in 50 years thanks to meds. You can beat it!

Have strength. There are many ways to cope with it. My cousin was in a motorcycle accident during high school and a result was PM. She has a full and happy life thanks to meds, many years have passed since that event.
