OP, you'll probably need to contact the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs and Animal and Plant Health Agency for more info. My guess is they're going to say "indefinitely" or "for foreseeable future."

I’m in the UK too. Unfortunately there is no end date for the ‘chicken lockdown’ but it’s expected to last until around springtime. It’s best to come up with a housing solution to last long term - we are lucky that our chickens already has quite a bit of indoor space, but we have now attached a polytunnel to their shed/coop to give them more space.
