Just found out two of my chickens are half bantam.....

That's the problem, their mom WAS a bantam. I don't understand why they're so huge. Then again, it was a cochin bantam, do cochin bantams lay large eggs?

I'm guessing they will end up medium sized. I have some bantam/standard mixes and they are all bigger than bantams but obviously smaller than my large standard breeds. I'm just starting to get their first few pullet eggs and they are larger than I was expecting so I'm quite happy.
