Just getting around to introductions...

Well at least I think I am just getting around to doing introdctions... LOL. I have fibromyalgia so I have brain fog/fibro fog a lot. I am a SAHM of 3 boys. Married for almost 12 years to my best friend. We moved here to Lawrenceburg, KY a little over a year ago. As adults it is the first time we have had a place where we can have chickens. My first spring with them did not go so well. I only have one hen left now after many heart breaks along the way...

I'm so sorry to hear about your unfortunate past experiences with your flock.

It's so hard to lose animals we care about and I'm sure it wasn't easy for you to go through.

But, it sounds like you have a lovely family!

Were your losses due to predators? You might want to check out the predator section for advice on safeguarding your chickens. I hope things will go much better for you now.
