Hello Ty, and welcome from OHIO!

Isn't it great that you had that exposure to chickens when you were young, and now you can share that experience with your own kids! My only advice would be to make your coop twice as big as you think you'll want! Chickens are like potato chips....you can't have just one!

I think it's so great that you kids can see where eggs come from, and learn the responsibility of feeding and caring for birds!
