We are very new and have not purchased yet. Will be building coop over the end of the summer. With plan to purchase our first chickens in Spring of 2026
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None yet and hope to start with a dozen
(3) What breeds do you have?
None yet, researching right now.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Pets, but also for food and selling eggs in our area
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Baking and cooking for kids and grandkiddos
Gardening

Recently retired ER/Cardiac RN
We have kids and all are married with grandkiddos
Husband, after retiring from IT Medical Field, is middle School teacher for Computer Science
